regular monthly WMS meeting at
the home of Mrs. P. Bloomfield
Thursday evening. President,
Mrs. Rufus Turnbull, chaired the
meeting. Mrs. Katie Vincent
conducted the worship service.
Roll .call was a home made
Valentine and they were all
presented to a senior citizen lady,
Mrs. William Lawrence.
Plans were made to do a quilt
in the near future.
The regular monthly meeting
of the UCW was held in the
church basement with 20 in at-
tendance. Theme of this meeting
held on Valentines Day was

An enjoyable evening was
spent listening and dancing to the
Heywood Brothers. The hall was

The Elimville Women's
Institute held their February
meeting Wednesday afternoon.
The president, Mrs. Philip Johns
opened the meeting with the Ode
and Mary Stewart Collect. Mrs.
Bison Lynn was in charge of the
program on Public Relations and
Current Events,
A sing song was followed by a
reading, Send her a Valentine, by
Ruth Skinner. Mrs. Lynn con-
ducted a quiz on bed sheets and
pillowcases, also a picture quiz
using bath towels and sheets
and gave a demonstration on
proper folding of a fitted bed,
sheet.
Mrs. Ross Skinner introduced
Mrs. Emerson Penhale who
demonstrated the refinishing of
driftwood, making it into
beautiful pieces of art,
The business was then con-
' ducted. Roll Call was answered
with hints for good shopping. The
March meeting will be held at the
church March 13 with all 4-H
Many teenagers today just go
ahead and marry, expecting their
folks to be good`supports about it.
