About 90% of cars on the
road have automatic
transmissions. They're stan-
dard on full-size cars.
Here's a household tip that
goes on the road: sprinkle bak-
ing soda in auto ash trays to
absorb cigarette odors.
Water which sprays from the
exhaust pipe when the engine
is first started in the morning is
just normal condensation.
If your brake pedal bounces
. up and down when applied,
have it checked promptly. This
is di sign of out-of-round brake
drums.
Although it is unlikely that all
your spark plugs would go
bad at once, its more
economical to change them all
at once, as soon as one Or two
go,
-)fst
Rerdiring your old car is economical
on y up to a point • then it's time to
trade in your troubles for a new car.
