There were 35 in at- tendance. Mrs. Powe opened the meeting with a poem, scripture reading and meditation. Mrs, Russell Wilson favoured with a vocal solo, Mrs. Lorne Hicks introduced the guest speaker, James Stanley who showed pictures and gave an interesting talk on his work in Senegal Africa. The speaker was thanked by Mrs. Harold .Lightfoot. Mrs, W, R. The devotions and study session was under the direction of Mrs. Russell Brown. Led by the president, Mrs. Jacob Lagerwerf, the organization made plans for the World's Day of Prayer service to be- held March 1 in the United Church to which the ladies of area churches are invited to attend, An exchange of homemade Valentines, a viewing of recent quilting endeavours and a coffee time added to the interest of the occasion. Willing Workers The Willing Workers of the United Church held their February meeting Friday evening at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Ken Larmer. The same evening Joanne Walper entertained the members of her Sunday School class at her parents home.
