Bantams down
Parkhill club
In a recent exhibition hockey
game, the Exeter bantams edged
their Parkhill counterparts 2-1.
Mike Rathwell fired the only
Parkhill goal of the game late in
the first period and with only 47
seconds left Doug Osgood evened
the count for Exeter as he con-
verted a pass from Paul Shapton.
The winning goal at the mid-
way mark of the third period
came from the stick of John Van
Gerwen on an unassisted effort to
ensure the Exeter victory.
