Now that the holidays are over
attendance at the last two Hawks
games has been on a par with
former years. Up until the
holidays the crowds were down
over one hundred persons per
game.
It is hoped this new trend will
continue as the last two home
games against Tavistock and
Clinton were very exciting,
Lucan is here Friday night in
what should be one of the better
games, as there is very keen
rivalry between these two teams.
In their last 15 games the Hawks
have won nine, lost five and tied
one.
Exeter Pee Wee's won the
Legion Pee Wee tournament held
here Sunday by defeating, Kin-
cardine, Brussels and Goderich
in that order. The final game
against Goderich was possibly
the best game our pee wees have
played this season. So,
congratulations are in order to
coach Lloyd Moore, manager
Bev Skinner and all the players
on the team for , keeping the
trophy in Exeter. This is the
second year Exeter has won this
event.
