There were twelve ladies present, Mrs, Heber Davis presided in the absence of the president. Mrs. Savary led in the Litany, prayers followed, a Christmas reading and a poem were read. Gifts were exchanged and Mrs, Carol Greenlee won the mystery prize. Plans were made for a new years eve banquet An election for president followed, with Mrs. Savary presiding. Mrs. Joan Greenlee was elected president. Mrs. Heber Davis Vice President, Mrs. Ron Carroll, Treasurer and Mrs. Marguerite Greenlee, secretary. They voted to finish paying the church budget and to remember several Shut-in friends. The meeting was closed with prayer and Mrs. Carol Greenlee assisted the hostess with refresh- ments.Mrs. Sheryl Carroll invited the group for the January meeting. Mrs. Lorne Elliott read the addresses. Mrs. Larry Gardiner made the presentations to Mrs. James Miller, Mrs. J. Carey and Mrs. R. Laing. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs, L, Gardiner with Mrs. Carey presiding and reading an opening meditation, on the Spirit of Christmas. Following the opening hymn, 0 Come, AU Ye Faithful, Mrs. Norman Harburn read the Christmas story from Luke 2. Mrs. J. Templeman gave a reading, The Other Way, and Bruce Norris played two num- bers on his accordion. The topic, Christmas Remembered, was given by Mrs. Eldon Allen.
