Only the Sunday before, the Jets turned in their best per- formance of the season as they downed the Huskies 4-2 in Durham. T-A photo All scoring was confined to the first two periods of play as each team scored twice in the first period and the Jets notched the only two scores of the middle frame. Rick Fifield and Jacques Cousineau were the Jets marksmen in the opening session while Drew Haldane and Mike Jackson replied for the Huskies. Jack Nairn notched what proved to be the winning goal at 12.27 of the second and Fifield was back with his second of the night less than two minutes later to provide the necessary in- surance. Against Woodstock, Terry Bourne and Jack Nairn each fired two successful shots to lead the Jets while single goals were garnered by Jacques Cousineau and Jamie Robb.
