A TIME FOR LOVE
By SANDRA McLEOD

A trip-
To Bethlehem ;
For Mary and Joseph
Who had to pay taxes
To Herod who was the King.
A stable -
They slept
Mary gave birth to a son;
His name was Christ.
The stars shone brightly
overhead.
Angels -
Shepherds came -
Kings from the
East to celebrate his
Birth and coming of the Messiah.
The tidings
Spread far and wide:
Herod was full of anger
The small family fled;
Jesus grew.
Repent-
The Saviour,has come;
Glorify his being;
Believe his word;
The Resurrection and Heaven.
Christmas time-
To celebrate His birthday -
Full of joy and happiness;
Giving and receiving;
A time for love worldover.

Dear Sir,
I think I should tell you about
Rudolph. You told me to go and
'see him. Well! I did. And do you
know what I saw! I saw Rudolph
trying to turn on his nose but he
had burnt out batteries. I think
you should get some. Your
cooperation would be ap-
preciated.
Yours truly,
Doug the Doctor

Christmas season's here once
more,
With the snowflakes falling,
When everyone has open doors,
For everyone's going calling
The Christmas tree is all alight,
Music's in the air,
He wait for that one night,
When Santa's here and there.
The turkeys in the big, hot oven,
The tables set with dishes,
People are outside shovelling
snow,
And bringing us good wishes.
The children wake up in the
morning,
And open gifts and toys,
From all of us to all of you,
Merry Christmas girls and boys.
Dear Santa,
I've been a good girl at home
and at school. Are you ready for
your long journey. Yesterday we
made a picture of you. We are
going to get four kittens. I hope
