CHRISTMAS HAPPINESS
By DONNA PROUT
Grade 5
Usborne Central
Christmas happiness, all year
round
Santa down the chimney will
bound
Christmas happiness, so much
fun
We eat turkeys, cakes and a hot
bun
Christmas happiness, a
Christmas gift
It is December twenty-fifth
Christmas happiness, reindeer
too
Over the sky the reindeer flew
Christmas happiness, Santa
Claus
Dad gets ties and mom gets a
vase.
Christmas happiness, Christmas
morn
Jill gets a doll and Jack a horn
Christmas happiness a red holly
Santa and his elves are so jolly
Christmas happiness, angels
white
The stars were shining very
bright
Christmas happiness lots of toys
Only made for good girls and
boys
Christmas happiness, a
Christmas bell
Mom and Dad Christmas stories
they tell
Christmas happiness, a candy
cane
Here comes Santa down the white
lane.
Christmas happiness a Christ-
mas tree
Jesus was born to let us be free.
CHRISTMAS EVE '
By LARRY BERTENS
Grade 4
Precious Blood
The lights are bright
In the middle of the night,
I'm full of fright,
Cause somethings in sight,
I think I'm right,
It might be Santa snug up tight,
CHRISTMAS
By STEVE SKINNER
Grade 7
Exeter P,S.
Christmas comes once a year.
Santa comes with his deer,
On the roof you hear them go.
Little hoofs in the snow.
There he goes with his bag.
Full of toys with a tag.
Down the chimney through the
soot.
Once, you know, he broke his
foot,
He puts candy in the socks.
Last year I got a coo-coo-clock.
Linda wrote a big long letter.
Now he can decide what to get
her.'
, He puts presents under the tree.
Then up the chinmey full of glee.
If you look into the dawn.
You will see now they're gone.
Dear Santa,
I've been a good girl at home .
and at school. We are going to
have a concert at school. I hope
your reindeer are almost ready to
go. I have two little kittens. There
names are Beep and Meep.
Yesterday we made a picture of
you. After Chirstmas I am going
to get my tonsils out. I want an
easy-bake-oven and a barbie doll.
Your friend,
Lori Hayter

CHRISTMAS
By DEBBIE JOSEPHSON
Grade 3
Exeter P.S.
Christmas comes once a year,
And it never comes with a tear.
Christmas is full of joys,
With lots of fun and toys,
Christmas is the time for games,
And Santa has a list of names,
But don't get sick with a pain,
Or you may not eat your candy
cane.
