Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Ellake and
family have completed their
harvest and have disposed of
their crop of mink pelts,
This involves weeks of
preparation, selec tin g,killing ,
cleaning, stretching and drying,
then the long tedious hours of
sorting for the buyer, who comes
and mixes, sects, jumbles them
all around and finally leaves for
another mink farm with his
selection.
A group of friends and relatives
of Phil Conlin and Ellen Crawley,
who were married Saturday in
Wisconsin, motored to Detroit
where they boarded a plane to
Reedsburg,Wisconsin and spent
the weekend as guests of the
bride and groom.
They were Mr. & Mrs. Joe
Conlin, Mr. & Mrs. Tony Conlin,
Mary & Jack Conlin, Mr. &
Mrs.Don Scott, Joe Dietrich, Mr.
& Mrs. .1. Thompson, Mr. & Mrs,
B. Dixon, Mr. & Mrs. Murray
Simpson, Mr. & Mrs. C. Carter
and Dennis Little, who was an
usher at the wedding.
The reception was held in
Wisconsin Dells and the group
from this area were billeted
there. The bride and groom will
be residing in this area.
