T-A photo Greenway woman on visits to Nova Scotia By MANUEL CURTS GREENWAY Mrs. Bruce Steeper has ac- li companied her daughter, Mrs. Bruce Huntley and Jarrod by air to the Huntleys' new home in Halifax, for a week's stay. They previously lived in' St. Catharines. Mrs. Elton Curts is confined to University Hospital, London, and Mrs. Bryden Taylor, Grand Bend, is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. & Mrs. Hector Murray, Exeter were recent visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Selbourne English. Mr. & Mrs. Ross Brown at- tended a pre-Christmas get together with relatives in Collingwood on the weekend. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Smithers and Mr. & Mrs. William Curts were weekend visitors with Evelyn, Viola & Manuel Curts. Mrs. Selbourne English was hostess at an afternoon tea held at her home last Wednesday when the ladies of the village welcomed Viola Curts, formerly of London to Greenway. Archie Adair was guest of honor at a family gathering, Sunday, at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Adair, the occasion being his 89th birthday. Mr. & Mrs. Eldon Young, Lucan were Sunday evening visitors with Mrs. Vera Brophey. Brinsley cleric in hospital By GORDON MORLEY Sunday following the church service in the United Church there will be lunch followed by the Sunday School Christmas concert. Laura Lee R.N. Stratford Hospital was home for a few days last week with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Ancell Lee. Church service was cancelled last Sunday. Rev. C. Westhaver is a patient in Strathroy Hospital. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Fred Wells (nee Jackie Lewis) who were married at the United Church Saturday. Mrs. Violet Allison and Kathleen Morley visited Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Ella Tweddle. A euchre party was held Friday evening at the Brinsley Com- munity centre. Friday evening visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Jim Morley were Terry and April Hodgins.
