ROBERT LAING Mrs. Frank Hamilton was hostess for the November meeting of the Marian Ritchie Evening Auxiliary Tuesday. Mrs. Larry Gardiner opened the meeting with a reading and prayer. The scripture was read by Mrs. Beverly Taylor. Twelve members answered the roll call with the name of a missionary in India. Mrs. Lloyd Miller recorded the 18 cards and 10 visits to shut-ins during the past month. The treasurer, Mrs. Lorne Elliott, gave the treasurer's report showing that the allocation has been met this year. It was decided that the associate members and any new-corners in the community would be invited to the Christmas meeting. Mrs. Eldon Allen presented the study book showing the opinions of Indian men of various religions and political positions toward the foreign missionaries and their work, Mrs. Lloyd Miller conducted a contest and Mrs. John Miller gave the topic on "Heaven." Personals Ladies attending the Women's Missionary Society meeting in Caven Presbyterian Church, Exeter, were Mrs. Russell Scott, Mrs. Thos. L. Scott, Mrs. John Jefferson, Mrs. Larry Gardiner, Mrs. Carter Kerslake, Mrs. Garnet Taylor, and Mrs. Lorne Elliott. William Hugh, son of Mr. & Mrs. Ivan Norris, and Barbara Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. & _Mrs. Brian Finlayson, received the sacrament of baptism at the church service Sunday. Bob Harburn had the misfortune to break a bone in his foot while wrestling in his gym class at Northwestern School, Stratford. Mr. & Mrs. Thos. Scott visited recently with Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Moore, Lindsay, and Marjorie Moore, Port Hope. Friends of Mrs. Otto Walker will be glad to hear she is doing well after an eye operation in Victoria Hospital, London. Margaret Laing was a weekend guest with her sister, Marilyn Laing, Stratford. Mrs. Gordon Kraemer, Mit- chell, visited Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Ivan Norris, Saturday evening visitors were Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Bailie, London, and Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Kraemer, Munro. Bonnie Norris spent the weekend in Toronto with Colleen O'Connor, The two girls met during the summer when they took part in the rural-urban student exchange. Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Scott, Mr. & Mrs. Andy McLean, and Mr. & Mrs. Ivan Norris attended the Holstein banquet in Atwood Friday. Mr. & Mrs. Alex Gardiner visited Mr. & Mrs. Ken Moorehead and family, Bramp- ton. Mr. & Mrs. Charles Douglas spent Sunday with Joe and Marjorie Pearson, Orangeville By MRS. STAN PRESZCATOR Mrs. Wm.
