The Messengers held their
meeting Sunday with 22 present.
The meeting opened with quiet
music by Michael Brine followed
by the Theme "Finding Joy and
Pleasure in Working Together as
a Group" and the call to worship.
The Messengers Motto was
repeated. Hymns were sung
accompanied by Michael Brine,
Patricia Cowdrey and Mrs. Ted
Brine. Paul Robinson read the
scripture. A poem "The Team"
was read by Janet Parkinson and
Sallah Gunton. Cheryl Brine
played an instrumental, A peaft
was read by Mrs. David Wheeler.
The roll call was answered by
naming the number of people in
your family. The offering was
received by Deanna Copeland
and Scott Thomson. Susan
Spence led in prayer, The
meeting closed with the
Messenger Prayer.

St. Marys Hospital with extensive
burns to his face, hands and arms
after an electrical switch he was
working on exploded, He is
recuperating at St. Joseph's
Hospital and it is not known if
skin grafts will be necessary.

Clandeboye held their
November meeting at the London
Public Library. Mrs. W. Scott,
president and Mrs. R. Wor-
thington, secretary held a short
business meeting in the reading
room.
A donation to the CNIB was
okayed. A tour through the art
gallery and paintings, depicting
the history of Canada were en-
joyed and each department was
explored.
Much information was gained
and Mrs. H. Hodgins convened
the tour.

Clandeboye "Blockheads" 4-H
club no. 1 held a double meeting
Saturday completing meetings
seven and eight. The girls worked
on their lino-block and free choice
article.
They plan a work meeting next
Saturday to complete their book
covers and plan for achievement
day which will be held on
December 15 at Parkhill.
At the seventh meeting of the
Clandeboye "Printin' Pals" 4-H
club, the eight girls present
worked on their linolium block
printing.
The format of their.
Achievement Day presentation
was also discussed. Next week
they will have the opportunity to
paint and print the designs
carved in their lino blocks.

The executive and planning
committee of the South Huron
Rabbit breeders Association met
at the home of E. Donaldson to
make plans for Christmas en-
tertainment.
Monday and Tuesday of last
week about 350 4-H leaders from
as far as Thunder Bay, Ottawa
and Kingston plus Exeter,
Clandeboye, Lucan, Ailsa Craig
and Kirkton were royally treated
to a day at the winter fair and a
nights lodging and early morning
breakfast in the Lord Simcoe
Hotel Toronto compliments of the
Department of Agriculture and
Food. This is just one of the
rewards for being a homemaking
4-H leader.
