Hear of trip
to India
The November Thankoffering
meeting of Presbyterian Church
Women, Exeter, was well at-
tended with guests joining us
from town, Hensall and
Cromarty.
Mrs. Arthur Whilsmith led the
devotional and Mrs. Andrew
Johnston spoke on "Creativity in
our wearing apparel", the joy of
expressing ourselves and our
talents in the way we wear
clothes.
Music always a most enjoyable
part of evenings together, was
the gift of Mrs. Bev Turner and
Mrs. Beth Prouty accompanied
by Mrs. Louise Bigelow.
Guest speaker, Mrs. Malcolm
Davidson, Brucefield, led
members on a vivid trip to India
with herself and her five
children. They travelled to the St.
Alphonse School of Father
Abraham, a Jesuit Priest and
viewed the work being ac-
complished with children. This is
a serious task, but one which in-
volves much humor.
Through slides we had a tour of
India and a brief look at Father
Bob of Zurich.
