Clyde Westhaver was held in Brinsley United Church Sunday evening. Rev. Ron Hunt, chairman of Middlesex Presbytery conducted the service and Rev. E. Madden, Lucan preached the sermon. Rev. Frank Dalton, Parkhill presented Rev. Westhaver for induction as minister of the Ailsa Craig, Brinsley and Carlisle Churches. During the social hour Rev. UCW Mrs. Wilbert Lewis was hostess for the UCW meeting in November. The meeting opened by singing hymns and scripture read by Carolyn Lewis, A poem on Remembrance Day was given by Mrs. W. Lewis and Mrs, Pickering followed by two readings and the singing of another hymn. The roll call was answered by 14 ladies. Shower A bridal shower was held Thursday evening in the United Church basement for Jacqueline Lewis bride-elect of December. Nancy Rader and Karen Hodgson each rendered musical numbers, Susan Porter read the address and Carol Anne Pickering and Debbie Lewis assisted opening the gifts. . Euchre Euchre party was held at Brinsley Community Centre Friday with eight tables.
