FOLLOWING FOOTSTEPS — There's apparently no end in sight to the domination of the Dearing name in the Dorset classes in sheep competitions. Preston and Peter are the latest members of the family to cart off ribbons, as they did at Saturday's fair in Exeter. They're following in the steps of their father and grandfather, Gerald and Preston Dearing, Ontario's premier breeders. During the past 7 years, Agriculture Canada, Health of Animals Branch, in co-operation with the Huron County Health Unit, has sponsored free Anti- Rabies Vaccination clinics for dogs and cats in the county. The sponsoring groups have therefore decided to again hold Anti-Rabies Vaccination clinics in 1973, in an attempt to limit the spread of rabies to dogs and cats from wild animals, particularly skunks and foxes. All owners of dogs and cats are strongly urged to take advantage of the frTe Anti-Rabies Vac- cination clinics which will take place from October 1, (in nor- thern areas of the county) to October 17, (in southern areas.). Rabies is a virus disease of animals which can be spread to man and is usually fatal in all warm-blooded species. The fatality of the disease is an aspect which makes the disease so important in public health. To date no confirmed cases of rabies have occurred in humans in Huron County. This outstanding record is mainly due to the conscientious efforts of medical authorities and practitioners in the county, combined with control measures in animals. Clinics in the southern area will SOCIAL at Exeter Legion Hall Sept. 29 music by Skipper's Orchestra Everyone Welcome Stag for Barry Tiernan Friday, Sept. 28 EXETER ARENA Admission $1.00 Everyone Welcome DASHWOOD HOTEL Entertainment Sept. 28, 29 In Between Oct. 3 Roger Quick Tiffany Dining Lounge Hours Weekdays 12.2, 5-8 Fri. & Sat 12.2, 5-9 Sundays 4.8 Completely Air Conditioned Mr. Paul's Menu Suggestions for this week ...
