IN MEMORIAM —
ALLISON — In loving memory of a
dear husband who passed away,
September 23, 1962.

That tells the hearts that are broken
It's the lonesome tears in the after

Exeter council still opposes the
new food premises bylaw being
touted by the Huron County
Health Unit, but did agree this
week to advise the unit when any
building permits are issued to
food outlets,
Two weeks ago, council
discussed the proposed bylaw
and decided to write MOH, Dr,
Frank Mills to get further
clarification.
He wrote back this week ad-
vising the bylaw was being
requested so the unit would have
knowledge of any food premises
that were being built or altered,
He said that without passage of
the bylaw, the unit could only
supervise those of which they
were aware.
Dr, Mills also explained that
the proposed fees suggested in
the bylaw did not have to be
charged if in fact council felt they
were double taxation.
"They're just asking our co-
operation so they will know
where establishments are,"
Reeve Derry Boyle explained.
Some members found this
difficult to understand after it
was learned from clerk Eric
Carscadden that copies of all
building permits approved by
council were sent to the health
Unit.
Council finally decided to take
no action on the bylaw, although
they did agree to notify the unit
when permits are issued for new
or existing food premises.
