Church, Zurich, September 15,

Rev. Father Durand officiated
at the ceremony with music by
Mrs.. Pat Meidinger and soloist
Sister Elaine.
Given in marriage by her
brother, Robert Kerr, the bride
wore a long gown of white
polyester crepe trimmed with
chantilly lace. Her hooded coat
was edged with miniature shasta
daisies.
The bride carried a bouquet of
pink rosebuds, stephanotis,
miniature mums and baby's
breath.
Maid of honor was Mary Ann
Henry, Bridesmaids were Gayle
Henderson and Judy Palsa.
Their full length gowns were
robin-egg blue, flowered,
polyester crepe trimmed with
blue velvet ribbon. They carried
miniature mums, carnations and
stephanotis.
Best man was Joseph Palsa

cornflower and baby's breath.

is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew

wedding of Glenda Elizabeth
Pfaff and Peter Brent Wuerth,
September 14, 1973.
Rev. Bruce Guy officiated at
the ceremony with music
provided by Mrs. Ken McCrae.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a princess
style gown with long set-in
sleeves, stand-up frilled collar
and circular sleeve ruffles. The
waist ties fell to the floor and all
ruffles were trimmed with lace
edging, The bride also wore a
cameo broach, and carried a
bouquet of red roses.
Elaine Pfaff was maid of honor
for her sister. She wore an em-
pire-waisted dress of orange and
yellow flowers with short puffy
sleeves and stand-up collar.
She carried a bouquet of yellow
daisies.
Larry Clarke was the best man.
Guests were ushered by Greg
Wuerth, brother of the groom and
Dennis Pfaff, brother of the
bride.
Following the service, a
reception was held at the
Crediton Community Centre,
For travelling the bride wore .a
plaid pant suit with brown ac-
cessories.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs, Allen Pfaff, RR 2,
Crediton and the groom is the son
of Glen Wuerth, London and Mrs,
Anne St. Armour, Stewart, B.C.
The couple will reside in
Crediton, The groom is employed
at Quality Produce, RR 1 Exeter
and the bride is employed at
Darling's Clover Farm, Huron
Park,
Prior to her wedding, the bride
was honored at showers given by
her sisters Elaine Pfaff and
Shirley Scott; by girlfriends
hosted by Joanne Cronyn; and a
community shower at Zion
United Church, Crediton.

at the ceremony with music
provided by church organist,
Helen Nadiger and soloist, Mary
Ann DesJardine, cousin of the
bride.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a formal
gown of white silk chiffon styled
with a Victorian neckline and
sleeves. The bodice was done in
imported French alencon lace
delicately beaded. The softly
gathered skirt fell from the
empire waistline, just sweeping
the floor. To complement she
wore a cathedral length veil of
silk illusion trimmed in similar
lace.
The bridal bouquet consisted of
blue cornflowers, white Fruji
mums and a trail of ivy.
Maid of honor was Janice
Hayter, sister of the bride. The
bride was also attended by Beth
Troyer, Hensall and sister, Jayne
Hay ter.
The attendants wore dresses
similarly styled to the bride of
blue floral chiffon over taffeta Appointments
at Fanshawe
David Grimes, chairman of
Community Liaison Services at
Fanshawe College this week an-
nounced the appointment of Rick
Mateer as 'liaison officer for
Middlesex county.
In this appointment Mr. Mateer
will be responsible for working
with community advisory
committees and organizations
and with business and industry to
further develop the College's
continuing education programs
in Strathroy, Lucan, Glencoe,
Parkhill and other centres in
Middlesex county.
Mr. Mateer joined Fanshawe
College in January 1973 after
completing university training
and a period of employment
in industry.
In his new appointment Mr.
Mateer will work from the
college's downtown London office
at 272 Dundas St.
In announcing the appointment
Mr. Grimes said the college's
continuing education program in
Middlesex county has
growing rapidly with the in-
troduction of college programs to
one new community each year
and with a tripling of enrolments
in the last two years, He said he
felt this confirmed a trend noted
elsewhere toward an increasing
popularity of continuing
education programs for adults.
He also noted that the Mid-
dlesex county board of education
is assisting the college through its
encouragement of the college's
activities and through the
provision of facilities for the
Fanshawe programs. Mr.
Grimes said Fanshawe programs
