and flower girl Donna Marche,
Huron Park. The matron of honor
wore yellow, the bridesmaids
blue and the flower girl wore a
white and green dress.
Best man was Don Marche,
Huron Park and guests were
ushered by Jim Rolph, Huron
Park and Anthony Hynes,
Aguathuna.
Following a reception at Cyril's
Night Club, the couple left for a
tour of Eastern Canada,
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Stan Marche,
Aguathuna, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Parsons, Exeter.
The couple will reside at 124
Empress Ave., Huron Park. Both
are employed at Dashwood
Industries.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was honored at showers
given by Susan Rolph, and Mrs.
Don Marche; and by Barb
Parsons, Sharon Black and
Theresa Glavin.

Adams officiated. The bride is
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Edmund. Clark, Sault Ste. Marie,
and the groom is son of Mr. and
Mrs, James W. Gardiner,
Thames. Road.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor-
length gown of white polyester
satin and lace. Her full-length
veil fell from a Juliet cap, and she
carried a bouquet of yellow roses,
orchid and stephanotis,
Shirley, Clark attended her
sister as maid of honor, and the
bridesmaids were Mrs. Mary
Gardiner, sister-in-law of the
groom, Mrs. Diana Clark, sister-
in-law of the bride, Mrs. Miriam
Gratton, and Nancy Sarlo.
They were gowned alike in
yellow floral floor-length gowns,
with matching yellow hats, and
they carried shaded yellow
chrysanthemums and fern.
Glenda Clark, neice of the
bride, was junior bridesmaid and
Shauna Gardiner, niece of the
groom, was flower girl. Their
yellow floor-length gowns were
styled like the other attendants,
and they carried baskets of
mums,
Gregory Clark, nephew of the
bride was ring bearer,
David Gardiner was his
brother's best man, and the
ushers were Alan Clark, brother
of the bride, Robert Brown,
Charles Gardiner, brother of the
groom, Hubert Gratton, and
Mark Reuter,
A reception followed at the
Purple Lantern Inn,'after which
the bride and groom left to spend
their honeymoon in Western
Canada.

candelabra, yellow gladioli and
white daisies provided the setting
for the marriage of Gwendolyn
Irene Clausius and Patrick
Joseph O'Rourke, August 18,
1973.
Rev, A.C. Blackwell officiated
at the double-ring ceremony.
Soloist Janine Babcock, Detroit
was accompanied by , Mrs.
Audrey liaberer, Zurich,
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harvey Clausius,
Zurich and the groom is the son of
Mrs. Clare O'Rourke, RR 3,
Dashwood and the late Dennis
O'Rourke.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride wore a formal-
length white gown of silk organza
over taffeta with a high waisted
bodice trimmed with guipure
lace. A square neckline and long
sleeves were edged with frilled
organza. To complete her outfit a
cap trimmed with guipure lace
and satin ribbon held the three-
tiered elbow length silk illusion
veil.
The bridal bouquet was of a
traditional nosegay with white
gardenias,white roses and baby's
breath.
Attending the bride was Mrs.
Marlene Taylor, Hensall as
matron of honor, Bridesmaids
were Betty Jean Miller, London
friend of the bride, Mary
O'Rourke, Dashwood, sister 'of
the groom and Mrs. Barbara
Willis, Dartmouth N.S, sister of
the bride.
They were dressed alike in
floor length, blue floral, halter-
style gowns of polyester chiffon
with a frill edging the bottom of
the skirts, A short bolero of the
same material was worn over the
bodice during the ceremony.
Wide brimmed hats trimmed
with mauve ribbon completed
their outfits and they carried
nosegays of yellow roses, white
mums and baby's breath.
Groomsman was Gerard
O'Rourke, Dashwood bpther of
the groom. Guests were ushered
by Glen O'Rourke, Mt. Forest,
Joe O'Rourke Dashwood,
brothers of the groom and Wayne
Clausius, St. Jerome, Quebec,
brother of the bride, Bradley
Clausius, cousin of the bride lit
the candles prior to the
ceremony.
A. wedding dinner and recep-
tion was held at the Pineridge
Chalet, Hensall,
The couple will reside at 118
Gidley St., Exeter, Ont.
