Zurich United Church provided
the setting August 25,1973 for the
marriage of Joyce EdithBeierling
and Donald James Kirk.
Rev, Bruce Guy conducted the
ceremony amidst baskets of
gladioli and two yellow and white
candelabra. Mrs. Milton Pesch
and soloist Mrs. A. Amacher
provided the music.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a long
gown of organdy over polyester
crepe with lace bodice, lace
lantern sleeves and rounded
neckline.
The bride carried yellow roses
on a Bible.
She was attended by her sister,
Ruby Bierling, as maid of honor
and bridesmaids Cathy Kirk,
sister of the groom, Ruth Sebben
and Doris Stephen, both cousins
of the bride.
All dresses were styled
similarly to the bride's dress with
the maid of honor in yellow and
the bridesmaids in green.
Glenn Cockwill was best man
and guests were ushered by
Gordon Beierling, brother of the
bride, Richard Jennison and Tom
Patterson.
Following a reception at the
Pineridge Chalet, the couple left
for a wedding trip to Southern
Ontario,
For travelling the bride
changed to a two piece blue pant
suit.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Herb Beierling, RR 2,
Zurich and the groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kirk,
Exeter.
The couple will reside in
Exeter.
Prior to the marriage, the bride
was honored at showers given by
the Zurich 4-H girls; Mrs. Gary
Ford; Mrs. Gerry MacLean ;
bridesmaids and school friends;
and the. Zurich UCW.

Pink and white gladioli
decorated the Thames Road
United Church on August 18 for
the wedding of Linda Helen
Knight and Morley James
Eagleson.
The bride is the daughter of Mr,
and Mrs. Lloyd Knight, RR 1
Woodham and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. James
Eagleson of RR 3 Parkhill.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown of
white brocaded organza flowing
from an empire waist to a
cathedral train. The high classic
neckline and French pouffe
sleeve were trimmed withguipure
lace.
Rev. G. Wright officiated at the
ceremony. Music was provided
by Agnes Bray with soloist Mrs.
Roland McCaffrey of Exeter.
The bridal attendants were
Cheryl Westcott, maid of honor
from London, Mrs. Linda
Ellerker, Brampton and Helen
Eagleson, Parkhill.
Gowns worn by the attendants
were of floor-length pink and
white lagoda and the attendants
also carried baskets of pink and
white carnations.
Best man was Rob Hinrichs,
Cambridge. Gary Eagleson and
Ken Eagleson, Parkhill were
ushers.
After the reception was held at
the Dashwood Community
Centre, the couple departed for a
trip to the St. Lawrence River
and Eastern USA, For travelling
the bride wore a navy and white
pant suit with white accessories.
The newly weds will reside at
121 Queen St,, St. Marys.

yellow glads decorated the
Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle
August 25, 1973 for the wedding of
Brenda Darlene Cooper and
Donald Gerald Triebner,
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs, Lloyd Cooper, Exeter
and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stewart Triebner of RR
1, Exeter,
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown of
white polyester satin with empire
waist, Gibson girl neckline, daisy
trim long full lace sleeves and
daisy trim at cuffs. The gown had
a cathedral length lace train with
finger-tip, four-tier silk illusion
veil with a headpiece of white
roses with rhinestone trim.
She carried a cascade of yellow
roses with baby's breath,
Rev. Austin Gedke, officiated
at the ceremony. Music was
provided by Mrs. Grant Triebner
with a duet by Dave and Beth
Prouty.
The bridal attendants were
Mary Triebner maid of honor
sister of groom, Bonnie Cooper,
Marilyn Cooper sisters of bride
from Exeter.
Donna Miller niece of the bride
was flower girl.
The maid of honor and flower
girl wore a yellow, floor length
gown with empire waist, short
puffed sleeves, neckline inserts of
matching flocking and roll
collars of plain yellow.
The bridesmaids wore a
similar dress as the maid of
honor in turquoise and hot pink.
They carried nosegays of white
daisies trimmed with tinted star
flowers. The flower girl carried a

Best man was Bob Kinsman of

Ring bearer was Ivan Trieb-

A wedding. dinner was held at
the James, .St. Chnrch parlour.
The couple will reside at RR 1,
Exeter.
