married August 4, 1973 at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood, and im-
mediately following the ceremony, participated in the Friedsburg Days
parade. They won the prize for the most unusual entry. The bride is the
former Joyce Keller, daughter of Mrs. Florence Keller, Huron Park. The
couple will reside at Huron Park.

Father Mooney conducted the
ceremony with music by Mrs.
Gayle Elston and soloist Joanne
King, cousins of the bride.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a formal
length white gown with empire
waist, high collar and semi-puff
long sleeves, with a scalloped
lace, wrist cuff, It was trimmed
with pearl beaded white rose lace
and she also had a long train with
matching head piece.
The bridal bouquet was a
cascade of white carnations and
tiny pink rosebuds.
Maid of honor was Lorna
Mawson; bridesmaids were
Maureen Glavin, sister of the
groom and Peggy Baster t,
cousin of the bride; flower girls
were Tammy Worton, cousin of
the bride and Tracy Glavin, niece
of the groom.
The maid of honor and
bridesmaids wore floor-length
gowns in pink, rose and mauve
floral sunbreeze over mauve
taffeta and carried cascades of
pink and white carnations. The
flower girls wore pink, rose and
mauve floral sunbreeze to an
empire waist with mauve taffeta
floor length skirts. They carried
baskets of pink and white car-
nations.
Best man was Jack Glavin,
brother of the groom. Guests
were ushered by Donald Millson,
cousin of the bride and Joseph
Glavin, brother of the groom.
Following a reception at the
Shillelagh Motor Motel, Lucan,
the couple left for a wedding trip
to Northern Ontario and Niagara
Falls. For travelling, the bride
changed to a. two-piece suit of
black and white arnel with white
trim and white accessories.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Gerald Millson, RR 2,
Lucan and the groom is the son of
John G. Glavin, RR 2, Lucan.
The couple will reside in Huron
Park.
Guests were present from
Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener,
Chatham, Windsor, Aylmer,
Stratford, London and
surrounding area.

Following a wedding dinner at
the church, a reception was held
at the Exeter Legion Hall. For a
wedding trip to Northern Ontario
the bride changed to a white and
chocolate brown pantsuit.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. John S. Tuck, RR 1,
Kirkton and the groom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs, William J.
Johns, RR 1, Woodham.
The couple will reside in
Exeter,

Mauve mums and white glads
decorated the Hensall United
Church August 4, when Patricia
Ann Parker became the bride of
Donald Ian Dalton. Rev. Donald
Beck officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Parker, RR 1
Hensall and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Dalton of
RR 1 Walton.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride wore a floor-
length gown of white polyester
crepe. The empire bodice with
high victorian neckline was
trimmed in a yoke effect with
swiss guipure lace. The semi-full
sleeves were caught at the wrist
and offset with the same lace.
The semi A-line skirt was corn-
plementedlby a detachable chapel
train and bordered all around
with the same swiss lace. To
complete her bridal outfit, the
bride wore a three layer
scalloped veil with lace and
headpiece.
The bridal bouquet was in
colonial style with pink
sweetheart roses, baby's
breath, stephanotis and baby
mums.
Matron of honor Was the sister
of the bride, Mrs. Doug Wein of
Whitby. Bridesmaids were Mrs.

The residents were favored
with a second visit this month of
the congregation of the Clinton
Christian Reformed Church as
there were five Sundays in July,
Aire Van Der Ende led the song
service assisted by Robert
DeMoor.
The "Opportunity for Youth"
group, "The Band", played their
concert in the auditorium
Monday. During the program,
Happy Birthday was played for
those celebrating birthdays
during the week. .
An event which is looked for-
ward to each summer by all of
the residents took place on
"family night" with the Brussels
Legion Pipe Band providing a
concert. The band under the
direction of Tom McFarlane used
the circle driveway and front
parking lot as a parade square so
that everyone had the advantage
Of both seeing and hearing the
music,
Don Penrose, cousin of the bride
from Brampton, Miss Faye
Dalton, sister of the groom from
Walton and Cindy and Cathy
Parker, both of Hensall.
They were dressed in floor
length gowns of flocked, multiple
colored polyester on the bottom
with tops of plain white polyester
cotton in a style similar to the
brides. All carried round
bouquets of mauve mums and
pink status.
Best man was Neil Beurerman
of Stratford. Ushers were Ken
Dalton, brother of groom from
Walton, Rick Parker, nephew of
the bride from Hensall, Elgin
Dearing, Dublin and Brian
Godkin, Walton both friends of
the groom.
The ringbearer Was. David.
Wein of 'Whitby, nephew of the
bride.
Music was provided by Mrs.
John Turkheim with soloist Gail
Stitt of London,
After a reception in the
basement of the Hensall United
Church the couple left for
honeymoon trip to Northern
Ontario.
For travelling, the bride wore
pink pant suit with white ac-
cessories, and white daisies for a
corsage.
The couple will reside at 77
Market St., Seaforth.
