The Exeter 13 and 14 year-old
boys won their relay division.
Members of the team were Paul
Brooks, Brian Horrell, Randy
Fisher and Brad Beattie.
In the 11 and 12 years division,
the Exeter boys team consisting
of Doug Raymond, Brian Mercer,
Steven Horn and Cameron Edgar
placed second only one tenth of a
second behind the winning
Wingham team.
Boys placing second in other
events were Randy Fisher and
Brian Horrell,
The top girl scorer of the entire
meet was Jill Tuckey with 31
points. We are very pleased and
proud of the entire Exeter team.
Their enthusiasm and 'second
efforts' were remarkable! The
team needs more members;
particularly boys and girls 10
years old and younger.
On Saturday July 28 the team
has another swim meet in St.
Mary's. The meet usually starts
at 9:00 a.m, and finishes around
1:00 p.m. Spectators are more
than welcomed!
The team and staff of Exeter
pool would like to thank Mrs.
Peter Raymond and Lynne
Farquhar for driving some of the
team members to Wingham.
