United Church. Tuesday in honor
of her approaching marriage,
Baskets of flowers, streamers

an attractive setting for the

The mock wedding performed
by a group of ladies afforded
numerous laughs for the

to Hensall.
About 50 members of the Smith
family held a reunion on Sunday
afternoon at the Ivan Norris'
home.

Several of the ladies in this
community received a long-
stemmed rose for being among
the first 50 to visit the Country
Spire Gift Studio and Tea Room
Saturday morning.
The studio and tea room have
been set up in what was formerly
Roys Church. Redecorated to
enhance its original architecture,
it includes a country kitchen,
featuring jams, maple sugar,
spices, etc. On Friday and
Saturday fresh baking will be
available.
The Canadian craft corner, on
and around what was the
minister's platform, displays
pottery, quilts and ponchos, as
well as Indian and Eskimo
Crafts.
The "little peoples' palace", a
quaint little building at one side
of the auditorium, has books,toys,
doll clothes, etc. A dainty tea room
has been set up in what had been
the choir loft. and visitors can
enjoy a pot of tea or coffee and
home made pastries.

Completing the cast is Toronto
actress, Paulene Carey, who has
been a resident member of the
Studio Lab Company. Her most
recent engagement was with
classical Stage Productions at
the Colonnade Theatre, Toronto.
Guest director for the opening
production is Burton Lancaster,
whose extensive background in
theatre spans London's West
End, the English "Reps", tours
of Europe, the U.S, and Canada,
and now resident artistic
director for Theatre North-West
at Thunder Bay.
