When Snell Bros. Limited marked the opening of their newly
renovated premises in 1950 we ran an advertisement featuring pic-
tures of 11 of personnel, many of whom had been with the firm for
several years to that date. Today, there are still six of those 11 at
Snell Bros. Two, Harvey Pollen and William Elliott, have died and
the three others have left our employ.
Ulric Snell remains a member of the firm and Mary Gardiner con-
tinues as our accountant, a position she has held for 38 years, a
record for GM accountants in Canada. Ray Frayne and Aubrey Ten-
nant, who were sales manager and shop foreman, respectively,
have joined Mr. Snell in the management of the firm. Gordon Smith
has been promoted to parts manager and Ross Taylor has joined the
sales staff.
Since then, we've added to our staff, Rick Frayne, Don Brunslow,
Don Switzer, Brian de Montmorency, John Fisher, Earl Vincent, Ed
Gingerich, Perry Stover and Mark Heywood.
We at Snell Bros, are proud of the fact that the firm and its
employees have "aged" together. Its been a team that has brought
friendly service to Exeter area motorists for the past 47 YEARS.
Because of their dedication to the job, the staff has been relied on
by customers, a fact borne out because we have people who have
been dealing at Snell Bros, since our opening. We appreciate the
fact they keep coming b6ck.

much anticipation to the future.
