Aid of Zion Lutheran church was in charge of. the birthday party at the Bluewater Rest Home Wed- nesday. Grpup 4, with Mrs. Rosaleen Schenk convener, was responsible for the program and lunch. A varied program, was presented: the junior choir sang two numbers; piano solos were played by Elizabeth Datars, Jayne Hayter, Sandra Schroeder and Barbara Rader; Sue Anne Schroeder played the guitar and sang and she and her sister also sang a duet. Dianne and Vicki Miller played a duet; Lisa Miller sang a solo, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Vesta Miller; Mrs. Mary Anne Desjardine sang two solos; Carol Rader played the accordion and Mrs. Schenk and Mrs. Martha Miller sang the "Apron Song." Following lunch, a brief business meeting was held with Mrs. Jim Hayter, president, in charge. The Altar Guild reported 20 visits. The new Guild is Mrs. Ernest Koehler and Mrs. Harry Hayter. Several donations were received. The Aid will cater to a wedding July 28, with groups one and two in charge. A bake sale will be held July 7 with group 1 in charge. Mrs. Hilda Wein is to see about a new baptismal cloth. Persona Is Victor Deichert, Mr. & Mrs. Clare Deichert and family, Zurich, and Mr. & Mrs. Clifford Pepper attended St. Timothy United Church, Kitchener, Sunday in honer of the latter's son-in-law, Rev. Willi Kam- merer, and his wife Joan, who are leaving shortly to serve in the United Church of Canada, Ogema, Saskatchewan, Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Hutchinson, Russel's Point, Ohio, are vacationing with Mrs. Henry Eagleson and renewing old acquaintances and friends.
