Guests were ushered by John Regier and Larry Glavin. Following a reception at Credition Community Centre, the couple left for a wedding trip to the southern United States. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scott, RR 2, Credi ton and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Glavin, RR 2, Lucan. Carson were Marion Ruth Langford, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Herman Langford, and David John Mawdsley, son of Mr. & Mrs, George A. Mawdsley, all of Lucan. The bride chose a floor length gown of peau de soie styled with long slim sleeves, roll collar and empire waist. The cuffs, bodice and skirt were trimmed with Venice lace, The gown was enhanced by a chapel length veil and head piece trimmed with Venice lace. She carried a sheaf of yellow chrysanthemums. The attendants wore identically styled long gowns. They were made of crepe with an over skirt of flowered voile. They all carried baskets of carnations, shasta daisies, and lily of the valley. Matron of honor was the bride's sister Mrs. Anna Brunner. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Shiela Johnston, friend and Deborah Dame, niece of the bride. The flower girl was Katherine Brunner, niece of the bride. The groom's attendants were Arthur Cobleigh, best man. Ushers were Russell Langford, brother of the bride, and Christopher Mawdsley, brother of the groom. For travelling the bride and groom wore matching blazers and pants. The skirt was A-line in front and gathered slightly at the back. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink carnations and white shasta daisies trimmed with mauve ribbon. The bridesmaids, Mrs. Glenn Hodgins and junior bridesmaid, Janet Oesch, both sisters of the bride were gowned the same in matching print of blue. They carried cascades of pink carnations and white shasta daisies trimmed with blue rib- bon. They all wore pink car- nations with mauve and blue ribbon in their hair. Dan McCann was best man and Don Glavin and Glenn Hodgins ushered the guests, A wedding reception and dance was held in the Dashwood Community Centre. For a honeymoon to the Bahama Islands, the bride donned a navy polyester dress with long sleeves, long white vest with navy fleck, and navy ac- cessories. On their return the couple will reside at RR 2, Crediton. Prior to the wedding Mary was honoured at a miscellaneous shower given by the maid of honor and bridesmaids.
