TAKE OUT ORDERS Phone: 238-2025 to all the individuals in that given society, namely Exeter. 5) Since you seem to be bent on dealing with the younger populace of Exeter, prepare a program by which you can work WITH the young element instead of helping to create an at- mosphere which is "undesirable" to say the least. 6) If possible, the next thing you would be doing is at- tempting to gain a little RESPECT for your force, because, believe me, you haven't got it now. Chief, if you read this, please consider my position and don't let me down. I'm counting on you and the good men of your force to provide Exeter with a good policing program, not one of discrimination. Kids are only human. — Contiued from Page 19 All one has to do is to look at the front page of the Times Advocate and you can read about the "crackdown" by the Town Police and Chief Day. I agree with Chief Day in that a drug- orientated society is not desirable, but neither is a police state. Drugs are the Chief's big thing right now. To return to the main issue "Chief, give us a fair shake," "Hell", the kids of this town could "get on" all right and be good people but your pressure and attitude forces people to rebel because they don't like it. I'm not saying we're angels but we can be responsible. Well I said before I'd provide some solutions, so here they are: 1) Chief, quit treating kids as something special and just see them for what they are. 2) The law forbids age discrimination. 3) Exercise the law as it applies to all society, not just those under 23 or so. 4) Prepare a constructive police force which carries the law It's an odd thing but, in- ternationally speaking, oil seems to cause a lot of friction, We're sorry we had to disappoint several people who had no reservations for Mother's Day However, we hope you'll accept our apologies and an invitation to attend this Sunday's SMORGASBORD 2:00 to 8:00 p.m, 1 1 11 1 1 1 1 11 1 1 1 1 /1 1 1 1 1 1 11 1 1 1 11 1 1 I II I I A it, Avoid Disappointment . . .
