Joe Manders' and David Goddard's . 4-H Meeting six of 4-H Cuddle Duddles met Saturday. Leader Mrs. Hardy demonstrated hand application of lace on a light weight knit and the senior girls made samples for their record books. The Junior girls worked on book covers. The nine "Lazy daisies" had. their sixth meeting at the assistant leader's home April 18. Hems and finishes were discussed, Sleeve applications were demonstrated, The Parkhill-Ailsa Craig Calf Club organized recently and the executive is: president, Jim Dixon; vice president Danny Hardy; secretary, James Henry; press reporter, Ken Simpson, Hand books, record books and leaflets were distributed. Meeting two took place in the Masonic Hall April 18 in Ailsa Craig. The history of buildings and the three types of roofs were discussed: gambrel-hip roof; gothic or pointed arch; gable or straight pitch. Mrs. Clarence Millson was admitted to hospitallast week but is home now and is up and around some each day.
