Canoe races continue to be
popular attractions and the
Bayfield Lions are planning
another such event this Sunday.
Proceeds of the event go to the
support of Crippled Children,
The race starts at 12:00 noon
Easter Sunday from the Hully-
Gully bridge, three miles .west of
Brucefield. It ends it the
Bayfield bridge.
A pancake and sausage break-
fast precedes the event and a
barbecue and fish fry will follow
at Hully Gully.

Two work meetings were held
on April 7 and April 14 for the
Staffa Knitwits at Mrs. Jeffery's
and Mrs. Butson's homes.
Members were shown how to do a
tailor's hem and applying elastic.
The girls also worked on the neck
band finishes and their garments.
The seventh meeting of the 4-H
club was held on Tuesday
evening at Mrs. Jeffery's home.

flashes red to warn the driver to
fasten his seat belt. His wife finds
herself talking back to the light:
