Frank Falconer of Clinton added, "I have never seen a municipal drain where everybody is completely happy. The township councils tend to go with the engineer." Accuse dairies of most benefit Dairies were accused Saturday of getting the most benefit out of the recent fluid milk price in- crease by Jack Armstrong, chairman of the Huron County milk committee, Armstrong in presenting a brief to three Huron members of parliament for the Huron Federation of Agriculture said the two price hikes granted since January 1 by the Ontario Milk Marketing Board are being borne by the consumer. He claimed the actual increase to the fluid milk producer is slightly more than two cents a quart while the cost to the con- sumer is about five cents. The dairies took from two to three cents a quart when the first increase was granted January 1 and another two cent increase March 31, Mr. Armstrong thought the dairies should have been able to absorb the final increase, He continued, "I can't see why they needed an increase out of every deal, they aren't the ones paying the high price of protein supplement." Ross Trewartha, a Hullett township milk producer said producers are just where they were one year ago, The two in- creases granted to the producer have been almost entirely eaten up by feed costs, he said.
