Her flowers were a nosegay of
bridal pink roses and baby's
breath.
Bill Dinney was his brother's
best man, and Michael Burke, the
bride's brother, ushered the
guests.
The wedding music was played
by organist Robert McIntosh who
also accompanied the soloist,
Mrs. Anmarie Hoffman. She sang
contemporary songs, "Here,
there, everywhere"; "Close to
you," and "We've only just
begun,"
JoAnne is the younger
daughter of Mr, and Mris. John
Burke, and Jon is the younger son
of Mr, and Mrs. Robert Dinney
both of Exeter.
After the wedding ceremony,
Mr, and Mrs. Burke entertained
at a reception at their home on
Main Street.
The newly weds are
honeymooning in the Muskoka
district and will make their home

January 31, with dessert being
served at 1,30. The directors were
in charge of program with Mrs.
Rhiney Keller in the chair.
The roll call, "A bit of wisdom

was answered by the members.

wedding of JoAnne Burke and
Jon Dinney, February 3, 1973.
Rev, Wilfred Jarvis conducted
the service which included a
candle-lighting ceremony bet-
ween the bride and groom,
Entering the church on the arm
of her father, the bride was
beautiful in a white velvet gown
with built-in train and a hood
trimmed with marabou. She
carried a nosegay of
phalaenopsis, orehids and
Freesia's baby's breath,
Attending her sister Wa$ Judith
in London upon their return.

Rev. Bruce Guy conducted the
ceremony, Judy Mason, sister of
the groom was the soloist and
music was provided by Mrs. Ken
McCrae.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor-
length polyester cashmere dress
with high round neckline and set-
in, leg-of-mutton sleeves trim-
med with chantilly lace. Her
floor-length veil was also trim-
med with a lace border.
The bridal bouquet was a
cascade of bridal pink roses and
pink carnations.
The matron of honor was
Sherry Jones, sister of the bride,
She wore a long, hot pink velvet
dress with short puffed sleeves
the business. Mrs. R.E. Pooley
gave her report of the hospital
auxiliary and the Huronview
report. Mrs. P. Passmore gave
the emergency report.
Hurondale W.I. is sponsoring
eight 4-H clubs this year, It is also
invited to Elimvilie's 25 an-
niversary, dessert euchre March
21 at Usborne school. The next
meeting is to be held Feb, 21 with
Mr. & Mrs. Maurice Love
demonstrating their Best Line
products. A bus trip to ice
capades is being planned for
February 28
Mrs. Arthur Rundle who has
been curator of the Tweedsmuir
history for 29 yrs was presented
with an institute cup and saucer.
Mrs. Wm. Kernick read an ad-
dress to Mrs. Rundle. The district
annual is to be held in Exeter
May 16. A committee consisting
of Mrs. Harry Dougall, Mrs.
Edith Love, Mrs. Wm. Dougall
was appointed to make
preparations. The members are
asked to save all their Maple Leaf
coupons.
