warden; J.E. Shipley and Mr. &
Mrs. C.M. Webster, lay
delegates; Mrs. J. Elson, W.A.

delegates; Mrs. K. Dickson,
vestry clerk; Mrs. F. Egan, Mrs.
K. Kraut, Mrs. C. Shipley, Mrs, J.

L. Hotson and A. Scott, auditors,
A. Hodgins and J. C. Murdy,
cemetery board; Mrs. C.
Haskett, Mrs. D. Ankers, Mrs. K.
Kraul, Mrs. N. Hardy, Mrs. C.
Shipley, rectory committee.
The vestry decided to make
this a year of Communication, a
time to really talk to each other,
share ideas, and encourage one
another. It is hoped that the
select vestry will bring in a plan
to implement the concept of
better communications.
Last Wednesday the Brownies
held a skating party after school.
The Cubs met and invested 18
members of the Cub Pack. The
Cubs are planning a Father and
Son Banquet for Feb. 21 at Holy
Trinity Church Hall.
On Sunday Rev. R.A. Carson
preached on God. He said some in
the last decade have said God is
dead, This is not a new theory.
Mr. Carson said God the infinite
is difficult to describe by the
finite. He is `Father,' the best of
wisdom, integrity, un-
derstanding, forgiving, kindness,
goodness, authority and
reliability. We know God through
Jesus Christ. God limits himself
in order to give man freedom to
choose. God is the Holy Spirit
striving in men's hearts to per-
suade, direct, suggest, and
control, said Rev. Carson.
Revival Center
Tuesday evening at the church
lower auditorium, the Women's
Auxiliary had their monthly
meeting. The president Mrs.
Eileen Currie led the Bible study
on asking people to "Come and
see". The ladies then put up and
worked on a quilt. Lunch was
served by Mrs. Thornton and
Mrs. Rita Cunningham.
Friday evening the Lifeliners
under the leadership of M.
Butler, had Rev. Chas. Falconer
from Monkton to show the film
"To Russia With Love" about
Christians smuggling Bibles into
communist countries of Europe
and Russia. This film showed the
dangers these brave people face
in this work. There was a good
crowd to see the film, and they
were most impressed. This work
is sponsored by Underground
Evangelism.
Rev. Thornton was in charge of
the evening service and Rick
Thornton led the singing. The
message was on the rise of
Satanic man.
