It was learned that consulting engineer B,M, Ross, Goderich, had broken his leg in two places. He was apparently cleaning snow from his car when he slipped on ice. That could create another delay in getting the sewer project underway. Plans had been made to have a meeting with Ross, officials of the OWRC and Canadian Canners to commence negotiations on cost sharing between the town and Canners. The meeting had been tentatively set for the first week in January but it is not known whether the Goderich engineer will be able to attend at that time. An earlier date had to be postponed because an official from Canadian Canners was on holidays.
