IRVIN RADER DASH WOOD Mr. & Mrs, Frank Mclsaac, Mr. & Mrs, Irvin Rader, Mr. & Mrs. Cliff Salmon, and Mr, & Mrs. Harold Schroeder attended the annual Stephen Township annual dinner at Crediton, recently. Speaking of Stephen Township and the results of Monday's election I thought it would be very interesting to get the reaction of the wives of the new Trustees. Mrs. George Tiernan whose husband led the polls said she was happy with the results, that, it would indeed be a challenge and she also thought it was time for a change. Mrs. Doug Riddell, who with her husband and two children are com- paratively new citizens in Dash- wood, was very happy with the results. She felt her husband would do his very best for the village. Mrs. Harold Schroeder says she was surprised at the results. She hopes it is for the best and she knows Bud will do his best, Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Rader and Sharon spent the weekend in London with Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd 'Howe and girls. Calvary United church held their Christmas program Sun- day, It consisted of songs, exercises and a play. Taking part were the kindergarten, primary and intermediate classes, Mrs. Bob Hoffman brought it to a close with a solo, "0 Holy Night". Irvin Eckstein motored to Rochester, Michigan, Saturday to attend the funeral of his sister. He was accompanied by Clayton Pfile. Mrs. Erna Schroeder and Herbert Schlundt have returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Junior choir sings at 'GB By MRS. FRANK KAMM St, John's-by-the Lake Anglican Church have a Junior Choir who made their initial appearance last Sunday, It is composed of David Sandilands, 'David Best, Margaret Dunne.and Susan Morton. The organist is Mrs, Pat Soldan, Mr. & Mrs. C. Kennedy, Mrs, Brad Hamilton, Mrs, Larry Lovie, visited in Toronto. Mr. & Mrs. Maurice Mac- donald visited Mr. & Mrs. Jack Dickens Exeter on, Sunday. Mrs. Karl Ohmayer is in the Exeter hospital with pneumonia, Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Haskett of Thedford, formerly of Twin Gables, visited Mr. & Mrs. Jack Coltman, Jason MacDonald and Leanne Sovereign spent a few days with their grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Maurice MacDonald. Mr, & Mrs. Murray Douglas visited Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Klein in Thamesville. A meeting of 4-H group was held at the home of Mrs. I. Ford. A discussion about work ensued. Claudia Jackson is to make the poster for the exhibit on Achievement Day. The next activity meeting on Jan. 4th is to be at Mrs. Ford's home again.
