TEMPLEMAN The family and consumer affairs meeting of the Staffa Women's Institute was held Wednesday evening in the Staffa Hall with 13 members and 2 visitors present. Guest speaker for the evening was Mr. Taylor from the Perth County Childrens Aid who gave a most interesting talk on the ef- fects of family life on a child, Mrs. Bert Daynard had a display and demonstration on rainyday entertainment for young children. The congregation of St. Patrick's Church catered to the "Pigeon Banquet" at the Memorial Arena, Lucan Saturday evening, Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Davis and Mr. & Mrs. Heber Davis attended the Sunday School Christmas party at the United Church Dashwood Sunday evening and visited Mr, & Mrs. Jim Hoffman following the party. Ambulance men meet in Toronto The Ontario Ambulance Operators' Association held its Annual Meeting at the Skyline Hotel in Toronto recently. Jerome J. Alexander was re- elected president for a second term. He is also on the advisory board at Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology.
