Ladies: if you find these ar- tides uninteresting or unin- spiring do not despair. The gems of wisdom found herein are sure to be a real lifesaver around the house, For instance after cleaning the fish and ducks that happy hubby leaves in the sink, you 'can use this column to wrap up the spare parts. When that surprise birthday present turns out to be a six week old Beagle puppy use this page to wipe off your shag rug. Finally, when the great white hunter comes home three hours late for Ripper, tracking snow and mud on your floor, be prepared, „Roll this paper so that this column is on the outside and wack him about the head with it a couple of times, In this way the local outdoor news will sink in and he can save valuable dish- washing time. And now to business. The annual spawning runs of salmon and rainbow trout are now coming to an end for this fall. Many good catches of fish were reported at Bayfield, Goderich, Port Albert and Owen Sound. Some residents of the Exeter area were amazed to find salmon at the Riverview Park this fall. Although a first for the town, it was no great feat for these fish SR. BOYS & GIRLS LEAGUE CC (J. Veri 304) 3 6 DY (M, Brintnell 336 ) 2 4 KED (G. Fuller 338) 5 10 AT (V. Flynn 289) 0 2 CO (B. Charlie Dittrner, Don Maschke, Larry Dobson and Kings play at Huron Park Bill Fuss, new manager of the Randall Memorial arena at Huron Park announced late Wednesday morning that Senior "B" hockey is back at his arena. The London Kings made arrangements only minutes before the call to the T-A from Fuss to play the remaining games on their 1972-73 schedule at the Huron Park arena, For the past four years, the Lucan-Ilderton Jets have used the same arena for their home games. The Kings will be wasting little time in making use of the area arena. They will be meeting the Lucan-Ilderton Jets at the Huron Park arena tonight, Thursday at eight o'clock. Saturday night, the Kings will be right back at the same place to play host to the Woodstock Royals. The Kings and Jets are currently tied for third place in the seven team league and to- night's game should be a very exciting one. A spokesman for the London club, Ross Imrie told the T-A at noon Wednesday that the high cost of ice at the London Gardens and not enough fan support caused the move to the Huron Park arena. Imrie added, "We are real excited about coming to Huron Park with our home games," Jim Ball is president of the London Kings, Bill Weir is the manager and Reg Whaley handles the coaching duties. , Dancing 9-1 Music by THE BLUETONES Everyone Welcome Forms at Exeter Arena Saturday, DEC.9 2:00 p.m. $380 IN PRIZES FOR THE BEST FLOATS 1st — — $100 6th — — $20 2nd_ — _75 7th.----._ 20 3rd_ _ 50 8th-- — 20 4th _ — 30 9th-- — — 20 5th — _ —25 10th 20 For Entries Contact Jim Hennessey, Parade Chair- man, or Bill Gilfiilan, Bob Fletcher, Dean McKnight. clear tread marks at the scene may claim the same at the district game warden's office.
