at Auxiliary
Zone Commander Marg Thorn-
dyke paid her official visit to the
Legion Ladies' Auxiliary at their
regular meeting Monday
evening. She addressed the 20
members present on behalf of the
Provincial Command.
President Barb Hearn chaired
the meeting, and a new member,
Mrs. Mary Chappell was in-
stalled.
Plans were discussed for the
Blood Donor's Clinic to be held
December 27 and a donation of
$25 was made to the Blood
Donor's Clinic. A donation of $25
was also made to War Memorial
Children's Hospital,
The Christmas party, and
meeting was discussed and the
members were asked to
remember their "secret pal."
Plans were also made for a
Legion Curling luncheon and
dinner December 17 and for
another banquet December 15.

IT'S GOING AROUND
AGAIN THIS YEAR.

Pair takes wedding trip
to Niagara Falls area
The homemakers class
assisted with Monday afternoons
activities along with the
Goderich volunteers. Music for
the occasion was supplied by
Marie Flynn, Clinton, Mary
Taylor, Norman Speir and Jerry
Collins. Mrs. Earl Allen accom-
panied at the piano for the sing-a-
long.

birthdays were honoured at a
party on Wednesday afternoon.

father, the bride wore a white
velvet gown accented with white
lace on the bodice and cuffs. Her
floor-length veil was lined with
white lace and was part of a
hood.
The bridal bouquet was a
nosegay of red roses.
The maid of honor was

Helen Marrinan and Patti
Fisher.
They were dressed alike in
moss green velvet gowns
fashioned similarly to the bride's
dress. They carried nosegays of
white and yellow daisies
accented with yellow rose buds.
Morley Reid was the best man.
Guests were ushered by Bob
McIntyre and John Blanshard.
Following a reception at the
Lucan Legion, the couple left for .
a wedding trip to Niagara Falls
and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Fisher, Lucan
and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Cyril Reid, RR 3,
Kerwood.
The couple will reside at RR 3,
Kerwood.

gifts, lunch was served to 150
residents and guests. Mrs. Gow-
dy was mistress of ceremonies
for the afternoon and joined Mrs.
Jack Ferguson for vocal duet
numbers.
Mrs. Gowdy also conducted a
sing-song accompanied by Mrs.
John Freeman. Mrs. Mabel
Edgar read a poem that had been
written by Harvey Sparling.
There were several mouthorgan
selections by Ed Gilman and
violin instrumentals by Mrs. Ron
McMichael accompanied by Mrs.
Dalton Dickison. Miss Agnes
Lawson, 97, a former resident of
Gorrie, in a few well chosen
words thanked those responsible
for the party.
Slide pictures of Europe were
shown by Willa Taylor on
Thursday Family Night. Mrs.
Micanernie played several piano
numbers during the evening.
Mrs. Revelle expressed the ap-
preciation of the residents for the
hour of entertainment.

and Mrs. Napoleon Bedard, Zurich, and Anthony Etzel Louis
Ducharme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Etzel Ducharme, Dashwood were
married in St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Zurich, November
25, 1972. Father Durand conducted the ceremony. The couple was
attended by Jack Ducharme, and Linda Bedard, with bridesmaids
Linda Masse and Louise Clipperton, and ushers Michael Bedard and
Ted Ducharme. Following a reception at Zurich Community Centre,
the couple left for a wedding trip to Quebec. They will reside in
