United ChurchWomen
The regular meeting of the
United Church Women was held
in the basement of the Church
with 23 members and one visitor
present.
Mrs. Nelson Baker opened with
quiet music, Mrs. Ellis Strahan
gave a reading entitled "Legion
of the Silent" after which she led
in prayer, Mrs. Austin Timms
read the scripture. Mrs, Strahan
gave another reading and a
poem.
Mrs. Oliver Baker introduced
the new study book on India.
Mrs.Austin Timms and Mrs,
Nelson Baker took part in a
playlet on "Facts of India."
Mrs.F Lis Strahan gave a reading
entitled "People of India
Today."
Mrs. Nelson Baker favoured
with an instrumental,

conducted the business.
