The material will go to the Rescue Missions of London and Kitchener, the Children's Aid of Goderich and the Goodwill In- dustries of London. Those who did the packing were Mrs, Ed Hendrick, Mrs. Aaron Wein, Mrs. Armin Schlenker and Mrs, Or- ville Jones. Zion United Church Sunday was Men's Day at-Zion United Church. Men of the con- gregation formed the choir and sang two numbers under the direction of Rev. Douglas Warren. The chairman was Steve Dundas, Ed Hendrick read the Scripture, Walter Fydenchuk led in prayer and Reg Finkbeiner told the children's story. Guest speaker was Arthur McLean of London. He stressed man's duty to the community and the world. The annual meeting of the church has been postponed from November 24 to December 1. Nelson Lamport will show slides of his trans-Canada tour. Crediton Women's Institute The monthy meeting of the Creditor' W.I. was held at the Community Hall November 15, 1972. Mrs. Walter Weber spoke words of welcome to 21 members and one guest and the roll call was "Something I resolve to do better 'next year." It was decided that the Institute would sponsor the euchre parties again this season with the first one to be held in January. Mrs. Bruce Shapton gave her report on the District Board meeting and Mrs. Gerald Dearing gave, a report on the London Area Convention which site attended in October at the Banqueter in London. Mrs. Robert Bushfield was chairlady for the program. She commented on the motto, "The essentials of happiness are something to do, someone to love and something to hope for."
