Let's Talk
About It!
Sunday, November 1 9
This Sunday, the people pictured above — along
with others — will be conducting on "Every Family
Visitation" of members and adherents of Exeter
United Church. They ask only a few minutes of your
time on their visit to your home to discuss the past,
present and future of Exeter United Church.
Please plan to be at home so the volunteers will
not have to spend lime in making call-backs,

Results of the annual fall rum-
mage sale were announced at the
regular monthly meeting of the
South Huron Hospital Auxiliary
Tuesday afternoon, and they
showed only about $1 difference
between the results of the spring
and fall sales. The total receipts
amounted to $1,676.62 with a net
profit of $1,476,89.
Over 130 ladies worked at the
autumn rummage sale.
The annual meeting and in-
stallation of officers was also
held Tuesday afternoon. Mrs.
Ted Pooley Sr, officiated at the

Mrs. Earl Campbell; correspon-
ding secretary, Miss Marion
Bissett; treasurer, Mrs. Norman

of $1,757.37. In addition to savings
of almost $3,900, the auxiliary
has $6,000 in investments, for
assets totaling $9,899.90.
This is quite high for the aux-
iliary. They have spent less than
usual in the past two years,
however, in order to be able to
assist with future additions
and/or alterations to the
hospital.
Among their many other ac-
tivities, the auxiliary paid for 222
hours of mending hospital linen,
