A reading, "The Liberated Life", was given by Mrs. Melville Buswell, An acrostic of "Liberated" was read by three ladies, Mrs, Russell Wilson sang Euchre Party Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Hirtzel and Mr. & Mrs. Larry Cronyn convened the first euchre party of the season in the Community Centre Monday night. The prize for ladies high went to Mrs, Georgina Webster; lone hands, Mrs. Tom Kooy; low score, Mrs. Audrey Schroeder; men's high. Mrs. Cann gave the call to worship, followed with prayer by Mrs. Edwin Miller. Lawrence Kellett played two piano solos. The Scripture Lesson was read by Mrs. Cann.Meditation,. "The Sacrament of our Condem- nation" was read by Mrs. Miller, Mrs. William Rohde and Mrs. George Kellett. A humorous skit, "Kitchen Talk," was given by Mrs. Cann, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Rohde and Mrs. Kellett. Two readings were given by Mrs. Kellett and Mrs. Cann in- troduced the story of Sid Gilchrist and Mrs. Miller assisted by Mrs. Rohde. Mrs. Rohde read two poems and Mrs. Miller showed and com- mented on a film on "Remem- brance Day". Mrs. Ballantyne conducted the business. At this meeting final plans for the buffet supper were discussed. Fondues were highlighted especially the Chocolate Fondue with dipped marshmallows, apples and bananas.
