MARRIED RECENTLY Pamela, daughter of Irene and Harry
Bossenberry, Grand Bend and Arnold Erb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Le
Roy Erb, Zurich were married in Grand Bend United Church
September 15, 1972. The attendants were Bonnie Klopp, Grand
Bend and Carol Bossenberry, Sarnia. Ronald Gesell and Glen
Gascho, Zurich attended the groom. The couple will reside in New
Hamburg.

by the church choir. Rev.
l3eukema, minister of the
church, was in charge of
devotions.
The annual Halloween party
was held in the auditorium on
Tuesday afternoon with a good
attendance of residents and
visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Bert
Finlay, Goderich along with
Mary Taylor and Norman Speir
provided music for the occasion.
The afternoon's activities got un-
derway with a grand march of
forty people in costumes in-
cluding goblins, witches, black
cats, horses and Indians.
Following an hour of dancing and
run, the residents were treated to
home made candy and apples as
well as cookies and beverage

Immaculate Heart of Mary
Church, Grand Bend was the
setting for the marriage of Linda
Marie Dietrich and William Ar-
nold Wasnidge, October 28, 1972.
Baskets of white daisies and
mauve mums decorated the
church for the service conducted
by Father D.F. Boyer, Carol
Robinson, provided the music
and Karen Kunder was the
soloist,
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor
length gown fashioned from
shadow souffle sheer guipure
lace accenting the wedding band
neckline, cuffs on Victorian
sleeves and a semicathedral
train, A guipure lace appliqued
Juliette cap held in place a
matching lace edged finger tip
length veil.
The bridal bouquet was of
white carnations with purple
streamers.
The maid of honor was Donna
McKay with bridesmaids Shirley
Scott, Mary Webb, and Carol
Dietrich. Pauline Brannon and
Tracey Dietrich, both nieces of
the bride, were flower girls.
They were gowned alike in pink
lavender floor length dresses,
sheer fashioned with Venice lace
accenting the neckline, Victorian
sleeves and bodice. It was com-
plemented by a matching floral
hairpiece. The flower girls
carried white baskets of mauve
daisies with white ribbons and
the other attendants carried
bouquets of mauve daisies with
purple streamers.
George Lee was the best man,
Ushers were Ron Scott, Tom
Parker, and Jim Dietrich.
Following a reception at
Dashwood Community Centre,
the couple left for a wedding trip
to the southern United States.
For travelling the bride changed
to a three-piece purple and white
pant dress with black
accessories.

Mrs. John Henderson, Seaforth
arranged the program for Fami-
ly Night this week. There were
several vocal and dance numbers
by the Henderson sisters, Donna,
Darlene, and Debbie; accordion
solos by Susan McAllister; and
instrumentals by three junior
boys who have started an,
orchestra, Kevin Campbell, Doug
and Don Henderson. By the way,
the regular family night program ,
will be changed to an afternoon
program November 23, for that
week only to accommodate a con-
cert by Captain Clark of the
Salvation Army who is touring
Canada.
Eggs are fresh if they sink to
the bottom of a bowl of water. If
they float don't bother with them.

the groom is the son of Mr. and
