On Saturday, we purchased the champion and reserve champion feeder calves at the Exeter
Fair, along with two other top entries, Beth Passmore and Lori Lynn Stewart raised the top
two animals and they, along with all the other members of the Exeter Feeder Calf Club,
deserve commendation for the extremely high quality of the beef shown.
At the Western Fair, Darling's purchased the champion barrow, the animal judged best
from the top pork producing farms in Western Ontario.

One of the features of this
O year's Exeter Fall Fair was
again the large number of
exhibits entered in the school
section by students from the
elementary schools in the area,
The pet section drew numerous
and varied entries. Boys and girls
brought their dogs, kittens,
rabbits, pigeons, turtles, goats,
chickens, guineau hens, guineau
pigs and even snakes.
