length gown of georgette over
satin, with a Victorian neckline,
trimmed with white lace, fitted
long lace sleeves and a cathedral
length train, Her elbow length
veil was also trimmed with
matching lace, The bridal
bouquet was of white roses, blue
cornflowers, and baby's breath.
Rita Thorne, sister of the bride
was the matron of honor, and
Donna White was the bridesmaid.
They were dressed alike in blue
printed georgette gowns with
empire waist, scooped neckline;
short puffed sleeves, and a ruffle
on the bottom. They carried
carnations and cornflowers.
James Stacey was the best
man, and ushers were David
Stacey and Gregg Kricorissian.
Following a reception at Dash-
wood Community Centre, the
couple left for a wedding trip to
the east coast,
The bride's travelling outfit
was a pale yellow dress with
yellow and white daisy trim
around the neck and sleeves, and
a yellow and white carnation
corsage.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Glavin, RR 2,
Crediton, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs, T.F. Stacey,
London.
The couple will reside in
London.

changed marriage vows at Zion
United Church, Crediton, August
26, 1972 with Rev. Douglas
Warren officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr.
and Mrs. Cecil Desjardine, RR 1,
Grand Bend and Mr. and Mrs.
John E. Pickering, RR 2, Dash-
wood.
The bride chose, for her
wedding, a floor length gown of
white chrystalette trimmed with
lace with full wrist-length
sleeves, caught by a wide cuff. To
complete her outfit, she wore a
silk illusion veil trimmed with
flowers and pearls and carried a
cascade of red carnations.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Charlene Forrest, Huron Park,
sister of the bride. She wore a
floor length gown of green and
yellow, with a green picture hat
and carried a bouquet of yellow
daisies.
Scott Sweitzer, Grand Bend,
cousin of the groom, was best
man,
Following a reception and
dance, the bride changed to a
black and white dress with ac-
cessories, set off with an orchid
corsage.
The couple are residing at 27
Essex St., Stratford.

ficiated at the ceremony and
music was provided by members
of St. Andrew folk choir, London.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore art empire
style gown in imported organza
over taffeta with chantilly lace
appliques and sequin trim. Her
veil was floor length with a
matching lace border.
The bride carried a bouquet of
white gardenias with white
sweetheart roses and
stephanotis .
Dorothy Kay was matron of
honor. Bridesmaid were Caroly
Hartman, Sharon Davis, Mary
Lou Van Engelen, Sue Gayeski
and Leta Nelsen. They were
dressed alike in rainbow colours
of pink, yellow and blue.
Best man was Dennis Egan

When you see or read an article
on some event occurring in far-
off Russia or China, it is almost
impossible to believe that it could
affect or even relate your own
personal life in Canada,
Consequently, it is refreshing
to note that this is not always the
case, A few days ago, the T-A
received a letter from Mrs. Mary
Squire, in Lucan, stating her
reaction to just such a news item.
What follows is Mrs. Squire's
letter of relevancy. All the
recipes are her own.

Eggnog French Toast, as it
sautes in butter, is easy to make
for and inexpensive
too, Served with maple syrup,
honey or jam, the family will call
for more.
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon sugar
1 2 teaspoon vanilla
1 4 teaspoon nutmeg
6 slices bread
3 to 4 Tbsp butter or margarine
Mix the eggs, milk, sugar,
vanilla, and nutmeg together in a
bowl. Dip slices of bread in the
mixture, and saute in butter,
turning to brown both sides.
Serve with Maple syrup, honey or
jam,
Broiled Cheese-Tomato-Bacon
Sandwiches (Serves 4)
Beat up an egg or two; mix with
about .;4cup grated nippy cheese.
Season with salt, paprika,
cayenne, and a few drops of
Worcestershire sauce. Toast 4
slices of bread on one side;
spread this mixture on the un-
toasted side; lay a thick slice of
firm tomato on each; top the
tomato with 2 thin slices of bacon.
Broil slowly until the bacon is
done.
Variation: Substitute 4 thin
slices of cheese for the egg-
cheese mixture, and place the
cheese on top of the tomato,
If canned salmon leaves you
cold, this fabulous recipe will
become a supper-time favorite.
Carol's Salmon Loaf
1 oz. can of salmon, drained and
flaked
1 can cream-of-celery soup
'2 cup chopped onion
1 Tbsp lemon juice
12 cup mayonnaise
1 egg, beaten
1 cup dry bread crumbs
14 cup chopped green peppers
1 tsp salt
Combine add pour into greased
loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for
one hour,
Bread PuddingDeLuxe(Serves
4 egg yolks
1 2 cup sugar
1 4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups hot milk
2 cups bread, crusts removed,
cubed
4 egg whites
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar
and salt. Add the butter and hot
milk. Pour over the bread in an
overt-proof dish, Add the whites of
