Mrs. Louis Restemayer and Mrs. Leonard Restemayer, patients at South Huron hospital are improving in health; Mrs. Glen Racier is a patient in St. Joseph's hospital, London, where she underwent surgery, Mrs. Glen Webb is also a patient there. HUGH MDR ENZ SHIP KA Mr, & Mrs. Harry Sheppard returned Tuesday from a two- week holiday trip to Manitoba, where they visited relatives and the "International Peace Gar- dens" at Boissevain. Mr. & Mrs. Tom Russell, Windsor visited on the weekend with relatives and friends in this area. Sandra Schroeder entertained some of her girl friends at a pool party last Monday. Her guests were Brenda Gingerich, Debbie Eckel and Kim Desch, all of Zurich and Susan Fischer, Debbie Lamport and her friend Ken Fryer, Toronto, spent the weekend with her aunt & uncle Mr. & Mrs. Harry Sheppard. Mr. & Mrs. Jake Schroeder and Dennis and Mr. & Mrs. H. Morenz motored Sunday to Wainfleet in the Niagara district. Sue Anne returned home with them after spending 2 weeks there at Lakewood Camp. Ruth Zielman returned Tuesday from a holiday in Toronto with friends. Mr, & Mrs. F'rank Harris and Joanne also attended the C.N.E. Mr. & Mrs, Tom Meininger and Eric, Detroit, spent the weekend with Ton's parents here, Mr. & Mrs. Art Meininger. Mr. & Mrs. Dick Zielman and family visited recently in Leamington with Mrs. Zielman's sister, Mr. & Mrs. Edward Stadler, Theresa and Siegfried, Mr. & Mrs. Mark Gilliland of Burlington spent a week's holiday at Grand Bend and visited Friday afternoon with their aunt & uncle, Mr. & Mrs. H. Morenz. making the flight home. Newcomers to the village are Mr. & Mrs. J. T. Reid and family who recently moved from Huron Park to the residence they purchased from Mr. & Mrs. James Gaunt. Work has already begun on the new home that Mr. & Mrs. Gaunt are building in the village, Mr. & Mrs. Chas Hodgins of Chesley were guests last week with Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Hodgins. Mr. & Mrs. Russell Wilson and family have returned home following a week's vacation at their cottage at Shepherd Lake. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Greb visited over the weekend with Mrs. Greb's mother, Mrs. Amos Smith, in Mount Albert. Mrs. Lorne Hicks and Miss Wilda Pollock were Sunday visitors with their brother and sister-in-law, Mr, And Mrs. Orma Pollock, Kincardine, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Hodgins were accompanied by Mr. & Mrs, Chas Hodgins in a trip last week to Chatham, Point Pelee, Leamington and other points of interest in Southern Ontario. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Borden Smyth were James Brown, Kitchener, a former resident of the village, and Mr. & Mrs, Lloyd Webber and son, Elimville. The 4-H leaders Mrs, Gordon Bender, Mrs. Ray Rader, Mrs. Earl Keller, and Mrs. Lloyd Beaver attended the training school in Exeter this week for the new project, "The Third Meal." Any girl who is twelve by Sep- tember 1 may join. Rangers at Sioux Lookout, which he enjoyed very much. He toured the pulp and paper mill at Dryden as part of the training program. Fishing at Pickle Lake was a real treat as they were flown in by airplane, Mr. & Mrs. Leeland Restemayer held a surprise birthday party for Mrs. Aaron Restemayer Saturday evening. Present besides her husband were Fred Weiberg, Mr. & Mrs. Garnet Willert, Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Keller, Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Rader, and Mr. & Mrs, Percy Willert, Zurich. Mr. & Mrs, Lloyd Rader camped at Wasaga Beach last week. They were joined by Darlene Rader and Jim Lynn for a few days. Mrs. Cora Gaiser spent the weekend in Kitchener with Rev. and Mrs. Bruce Seebach and family. Mr, & Mrs. Mike Burke and Susan, Brampton, spent the weekend with Milt Haugh. Mr. & Mrs. Jack Moffat and family, Cargill, and Mrs. Marie Farrel, Kincardine, were Sunday visitors with Mr. & Mrs, Harold Hendrick and family.
