An estimated $198,000 will be spent in transforming the former Par-Knit Hosiery factory into offices by November 1. The renovations contract has been awarded to James Hayman Construction Ltd., London. The board had rejected another proposal for the construction of a new building for $285,875. The board offices are presently located in the former nurses' residence of Clinton Hospital, while the board room and the offices of the student services personnel are located at Central Huron Secondary School. All will be combined in the former factory located on Clinton's Main St., about two blocks north of the main intersection.
