Mrs. Jackie Quintro, of Michigan, found the object similar to a hockey puck, bit slightly thicker - washed ashoi on the park's beach. It was labelled "Danger, Explosive." • She turned it over to police who took it to Canadian Forces Base at Ipperwash where it was detonated by an explosives ex- pert for further analysis.
