Tops hear report
on convention
The Lucan TOPS Club held
their meeting Wednesday at the
Masonic Hall with Mrs. Brigetta
Van Giel presiding. Seventeen
members answered roll call.
The monthly and weekly
weight loss was excellent. A
report was made by Valerie Neil
on the convention held in Toronto
with ten Lucan members at-
tending, all attired in avocado
green dresses and purses. The
slogan at the convention was "If
you can pinch an inch lose it,"
The two day convention was
well attended and all events
pertained to weight loss. There
was great pride and fellowship in
the crowning of queen, Mrs. Pat
Neil, St. Marys. The different
clubs had chosen colors for their
trip which made a very colorful
convention.
