Meeting has
.poor turn-out
A meeting of the Exeter Public
School Home and School was held
at E.P.S. on June 21. Only 11
parents attended, 4 of those being
this year's executive.
During the year approximately
$250 was raised by a fudge sale,
raffle, and hot dog booth. Money
was spent on half of graduation
expenses, part payment of the
new fridge at the school, donation
to Retarded Workshop, student
scholastic and speaking awards,
and gifts for retiring staff, Some
money is still to be spent on
athletic equipment.
After much discussion it was
decided that all those present
constitute a committee, with Mr.
Elliot Clarke as chairman, to
meet with the new principal in
the fall, to see if there is enough
parent and teacher interest to
warrant a try for a newly
