Members of the Crediton WI
met at the hall, April 19, for their
Annual meeting.
A dessert lunch was enjoyed
and roll call, 'How many of your
neighbours have you visited
lately?' was responded to by 24
members.
Mrs. Lorne Hodge chaired the
program. The 'WI anthem was
sung and Shelly Weber favoured
with an accordion solo.
Mrs. Sam King read the motto,
"Every time you fail to measure
up, your branch is short
changed."
Mrs. H. Hodgins reported on
the board meeting and gave a
summarized report on the Mental
Retarded kick off banquet.
"Somebody Else," was read by
Mrs. Hodge.
Mrs. Bruce Shapton presided
for the business.
The May meeting has been
changed to May 23 and the four
delegates to District Annual are
Mrs. E. Neil, Mrs. H. Hodgins,
Mrs. R. Bushfield and Mrs. W.
Weber.
The annual reports were given
and the suggestion box was
opened and items read.
